Guido Riffeser will begin his first full season on the MSUB men’s soccer coaching staff after completing the 2015 fall season on the Yellowjackets’ roster. Riffeser joined the coaching staff as an assistant in the spring of 2016.
 
Riffeser, a transfer from Nova Southeastern University this season, played in 11 matches in his final year as a midfielder.
 
Riffeser earned six starts throughout the fall season, and finished the year with one assist. He placed four of his eight shots on target, and also took seven corner kicks for the Yellowjackets. He saw the pitch for 569 minutes, averaging 51.7 per game.
 
Riffeser will join Balog, in his third season as head coach, and assistant coach Thomas Chameraud on the coaching staff for MSUB. Kyle Emerick, a 2014 MSUB graduate, will continue to serve in his capacity as volunteer assistant coach which he began prior to the 2015 fall season.
