With 20 points, the Yellowjackets are just one behind second-place Simon Fraser with an overall record of 8-4-3 and a mark of 6-3-2 in GNAC play. MSUB is coming off of
a 1-0 win over Western Washington on Saturday, and will play two big road games against Saint Martin's and Seattle Pacific this weekend as the team competes for a conference title.
Â
Balog will discuss the team's success this season, as well as MSUB's work off the field with Team IMPACT. The Yellowjackets welcomed seven-year-old
Sebastien Easton of Billings, Mont., to the team last season as an honorary team member to support him during his battle against cancer. More than a year later, Sebastien continues to be a part of the team, regularly attending games, practices, and team building sessions.
Â
The Yellowjackets were recently named the
GNAC Team of the Week, after defeating Northwest Nazarene 1-0 and earning a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Concordia at home two weeks ago.
Â
Tuesday's episode will be available as a free podcast via iTunes, as well as in the GNAC Stretch Internet portal under the 'on-demand' tab after it airs. A complete listing of MSUB guests on
GNAC Insider can be found here, and a complete archive of prior shows
