Feature Story: After growing up at Yellowstone Country Club, Jake Hedge has become one of MSUB's best2014-2015: First-team all-GNAC selection…represented MSUB at the 2015 NCAA Division II West Region Championships where he finished 84th…recorded lowest single-season average in program history at 73.9…had fourth-best scoring average in the GNAC…had four top-10 finishes, three top-5 finishes and won the MSUB Yellowjacket Fall Invitational…made par in 12 of the 25 rounds played…had a team-best low-round score of 68…earned GNAC Golfer of the Week for Sept. 29 – Oct. 5 after winning MSUB’s fall tournament…was picked as the MSUB Male Golfer of the Year at the Buzzies…academic all-conference selection…Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society member.
2013-14: Averaged a score of 77.6 in his first season in navy and yellow…participated in 11 rounds over five events…notched a single round low score of 67…recorded a pair of top-5 finishes. University of Wyoming: Participated in golf for two years with the Cowboys…notched three top-10 finishes. Billings West High School: Four-year letterwinner in golf under head coach Rob Bazant…helped his team to four-straight state championship titles…four-time all-state selection…individual state champion as a freshman…combined 14 AA tournament victories.
