Around the Horn: MSUB Softball senior feature story series - Taylor Hoke, SS
 
2014 (Junior):  Played in 38 games with 37 starts and 122 at bats…recorded .328 batting average, .443 slugging percentage, and 23 RBIs…marked eight doubles for the season and 61 putouts for the year…named all-conference honorable mention.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Played in 32 games as a sophomore, starting 29…in 82 at-bats produced 24 hits and 10 runs, batting .293, 25th in the GNAC…stole four bags in five attempts… had a hitting streak of eight games, third-longest on the team…had a reached-base streak of eight games, tied for second-longest on the team.

2012 (Freshman): Was asked to make the leap from high school ball to collegiate starter quickly as she replaced an injured Nicole Colpron at third base for the Yellowjackets early in the season…made 36 starts in just her first season out of high school and saw action in 41 total games...batted .340 for the year and made 106 trips to the plate in her freshman campaign...recorded 36 hits, 21 runs, 18 runs batted in and also knocked three home runs...first career home run came in her first-ever collegiate start and just her third-ever game in the 2012 Desert Stinger partnered with Rip-It against California State University - San Bernardino...was named to the all-GNAC team as an honorable mention.

Adna High School: Was a talented three-sport athlete at AHS, earning four letters in volleyball, basketball and softball...was a three-time all-league and all-state selection...was batting .510 with 15 runs batted in, three doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs during signing...earned the team's defensive player of the year honors in her first three seasons at AHS...helped her team to four-straight league titles and a pair of Washington State 2B titles in 2009 and 2011 with runner-up finishes in 2008 and 2010...as a basketball player, earned all-league honors three times (2009, 2010 and 2011) and was an all-area selection in 2011...helped Adna to a regional title in 2011 – the first trip to state in 25 years – averaging 18 points per game...was an honor roll student and a member of the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
