Gasner was one of the top pitchers in MSUB history.

Bekah Gasner begins her tenth year as MSUB’s associate athletic director for compliance in 2025-26, and her seventh year as the athletic department’s senior woman administrator. It is her 15th overall year working in the athletic department.

As the compliance director, Gasner is responsible for all NCAA Division II compliance duties and ensuring the department operates within the rules and regulations of the organization.

Gasner completed her third year on the NCAA D2 softball west regional advisory committee, and was selected for the NCAA D2 softball national advisory committee in the spring of 2019. Her four-year term on the national committee will begin September 1, 2019.

Gasner served as the interim head softball coach during the 2016 season, after serving as MSUB’s assistant coach for five seasons. She was previously an assistant coach at Billings Senior High School, and a former pitcher for the Yellowjackets.

Gasner completed her fifth year as an assistant coach with the Yellowjackets in 2015, helping lead the squad to a Great Northwest Athletic Conference tournament championship, a second-place finish at the NCAA Division II West Region Championships, and an overall record of 31-23.

Gasner was also an assistant coach during MSUB's regional appearance in 2012, and was a pitcher on the team in 2009 which broke the school record for wins (39) and advanced to the regionals.

After finishing her career at MSUB among the top-five in career earned run average, strikeouts, innings pitched, and shutouts, Gasner played professionally for the Amsterdam Pirates in the Netherlands. She also spent time as an assistant coach at Billings Senior High School, before assuming her most recent position as MSUB assistant coach.

Gasner, who has also served as an assistant compliance coordinator for MSUB over the past two years, completed her master's degree in interdisciplinary studies in sport and exercise leadership in 2015, after earning her bachelor's degree from MSUB in health and human performance.

Gasner and her husband Chris reside in Billings with their two sons Zeke and Elliott.
